Thank you for all of your continued support of the Committee for Greater Shepparton.

Please read a message to our C4GS members from our CEO Sam Birrell & Chair Rob Priestly.

It’s been a great year for Greater Shepparton, with a growing sense of optimism in the future of the region. Locals are starting to believe in the future of our community again and it shows with an amazing list of current and soon to be announced Investments in the region. Many of our members are part of this momentum – recently making / soon to make major investments. Construction is up and we are seeing improvements in unemployment levels. 2018 will see should see some serious spin off in the economy from public sector construction at the Hospital and SAM, along with the significant commercial building growth.

Social indicators remain a challenge but as a community we are finding new ways to tackle old problems. Growing momentum behind the state education plan, the lighthouse project, and the local tertiary education sector are all examples of positive changes that will make a long term difference.
Thanks to the staff of the Committee, Sam, Deanne and Bec who are doing an amazing job advocating for our region.

Thank you to our members for your ongoing support. Enjoy this special time of year with friends, family and loved ones, and let’s put our shoulder to the wheel and have a big 2018 and keep the momentum rolling.
