Careers Day Out 2019 was held on April 30th and from all reports was a huge success. A collaboration of over 1500 students from over 30 local schools allowed plenty of conversations with the 109 exhibitors. These exhibitors represented manufacturing, health, NDIS, education, community services, trades and environment industries.  Students were kept well occupied with a range of hands on activities including virtual reality which allowed students to be taken to another environment and gain a better understanding about that industry. The emergency services scene was bigger and better than last year as we were provided with a demonstration from a crash scene to the emergency ward, providing the students a greater understanding about the important roles that play a part in this situation. They are back again next year and have just announced the date as Tuesday 5th May 2020 so please make sure you mark this date in your calendar. Please click here to see the video from the day.
