About the event

The Committee for Greater Shepparton is inviting industry, education and community leaders to attend Unlocking Energy for Australia’s Food Bowl. Supported by RDA Hume, Workforce Australia, and the Greater Shepparton City Council, the event will explore what the region could become over the next decade if we get the energy settings right.


We know energy is now central to local manufacturing and freight growth, new product development and staying competitive. Building on last year’s Tri-Council manufacturing forum, the day will bring together key partners from across the region, energy network operators and people already doing interesting things to test current thinking and help shape what comes next.


The afternoon session will combine practical presentations and roundtable discussions on manufacturing, freight, finance and future workforce and skills.
